All entries must submit media for judging via the online entry system.
Each media type has specific technical requirements, as outlined below. Submission media options vary by category.

Judging media: This media will be reviewed by the jury.

Supporting media: This media is not required, but may be viewed at the jury's discretion.

Thumbnail: Every entry requires a thumbnail image. The jury will see this for reference only, it will not be judged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Pendoring Awards will not be accepting physical entries. All entry media must be uploaded into the online entry system.

Images

Presentation images will showcase a summary of your entry and will be used for judging, as well as on-screen at the awards ceremony should your work win.

Specifications

• Maximum of 10 JPEGS.
• Submit close-up images of small details that need to be seen by the jury.
• Keep text to a minimum. Utilise the ‘description’ section of the entry form for additional information about the work.
• 7063 (w) x 5008 (h) pixels
• 5MB - 15MB per image
• Each file must be a high res JPEG (300 DPI)

Film and TV

All videos must have subtitles.

• Video must be encoded to H.264
• Accepted file format is .MOV or .MP4
• Bitrate as per table above
• Key Frames: Automatic
• 5MB - 15MB per image
• Quality: High (Multi-Pass recommended)
• Streaming: None
• Audio AAC Stereo 48kHz
• Audio Bit Resolution: 16bit
• Audio Encoding: Constant Bit Rate (CBR)

Overview video

You can provide footage of the entry itself, as well as supporting information about your work. It is highly recommended that the presentation is tailored/adapted to highlight the elements most relevant to the chosen category.

Specifications

• Maximum length: 2 minutes
• Maximum size: 400MB
• In addition to the overview, you have the option to submit the full-length work which may be viewed at the judges’ discretion.

Original content video

Original execution of the content that was commercially launched or aired.

Specifications

• Duration specific to category requirements.

30-second edit

We recommend you submit an additional 30-second edit with all long-format entries, which may include a voiceover. This edit will not be judged but will be used on-screen at the awards ceremony should your work win. If no edit is received, the original video will fade in and out on screen at the awards.

• As per video specifications above.

Audio

Audio files will only be accepted through the online entry system. Audio files submitted can be:

• Content Audio (the original content as it ran)
• All audio files must be in MP3 format.
• Have English translations on the video/audio file that are visible for judges, or included in the "Judging Description / Translation" field.
