Description (View/Hide)
EA LOMA transforms everyday urban spaces into a platform for celebrating Pretoria's street language and culture. Spitori is one of Pretoria's most vibrant and expressive languages, yet it remains underrepresented in mainstream media. The insight is simple: the brands people remember have a distinct point of view. Much like Stoney’s unmistakable burn, Spitori is bold, authentic, and unapologetic. This shared personality allows Stoney to move beyond being a beverage and become an active champion of local identity by placing authentic Spitori copy, expressions, and township stories directly into the public sphere.

Tactical Media Integration & Non-Traditional Touchpoints

The campaign bypasses standard billboards, using tactical and non-traditional touchpoints to embed Spitori directly into the daily lives of Pretoria's hustlers:

Interactive Vending Machine Activations: Placed directly inside everyday Pitori hotspots, from local kota joints to busy corner stores, custom branded vending machines deliver an experiential retail touchpoint. Disrupted with raw graffiti typography, these machines drop limited-edition Stoney cans into the hands of locals, turning product distribution into an earned moment of cultural recognition.

Collectible Handout & Tactile Media: Moving beyond traditional print, the campaign introduces collectible "E A LOMA" phone magnets and sticker sheets featuring sharp Spitori copy ("Gereza", "Dintshang?") and iconic cultural figures like Mike Tyson and Spotty. These high-utility giveaways act as portable trophies of "the bite," allowing the language to travel out of informal chat and directly onto smartphones, wallets, and street gear.

Storytelling Packaging Media: The product packaging itself becomes a storytelling platform. Limited-edition 300ml cans feature short "E A LOMA" manifestos and real profiles of local township entrepreneurs who embody the hustler mindset. By turning the classic Stoney label into a medium for local narratives, the can becomes a conversational piece right at the point of consumption.

Ambient Township Posters: Plastered across informal street walls and transit paths, wild poster executions frame everyday kasi moments with bold Spitori typography. The raw poster copy captures the humor, attitude, and reaction to the daily hustle, turning city infrastructure into a living street gallery.
