Description (View/Hide)
EA LOMA transforms outdoor advertising into a platform for celebrating Pretoria's street language and culture. Instead of using traditional advertising messages, the campaign places authentic Spitori phrases, expressions and stories across fixed outdoor media, turning everyday public spaces into moments of cultural recognition and discovery.

Spitori is one of Pretoria's most vibrant and expressive languages, yet it remains largely absent from mainstream advertising. The campaign addresses this by bringing the language into the spaces people pass every day, ensuring it is seen, read and celebrated where it naturally belongs.

The insight is simple. The brands people remember are those with a distinct point of view. Like Stoney's unmistakable burn, Spitori has a bold, authentic and unapologetic character. This shared personality creates a natural partnership between the brand and the language, allowing Stoney to become more than a beverage. It becomes a champion of local identity.

The campaign uses billboards, digital screens, bus shelters, street pole advertising, building wraps, murals and playing fields to immerse audiences in the energy of Spitori. Each execution features authentic language that reflects the wit, humour and resilience of Pretoria's hustlers, inviting people to engage with the language in unexpected and highly visible ways.

By taking Spitori out of informal conversations and placing it on some of the country's most prominent outdoor media, EA LOMA gives visibility to a language that has long existed outside the spotlight. The campaign speaks directly to those who already identify with Spitori while inviting a broader South African audience to discover its richness and cultural significance.

Through outdoor media, EA LOMA demonstrates that the most powerful advertising does more than sell a product. It celebrates identity, creates belonging and proves that authentic local language has the power to transform public spaces into meaningful cultural conversations.
